Senior Cookery Tutor

Due to our increasingly busy schedule, we are currently looking for a Senior Tutor who has a wealth of interesting restaurant/teaching experience and who can inspire a passion for food and cookery to cooks of all abilities. Must consider the following points:

  • Be presentable and confident to demonstrate in front of a group
  • Have the ability to communicate well
  • Be able to lead a team, think on your feet and be a problem solver
  • Help with the professional development of junior staff
  • Have the ability to run a kitchen and all that it entails (ordering, stock-taking, good relationships with suppliers, budgeting, planning)
  • Have a knowledge of what’s happening in the food industry, including new places that are opening up, upcoming talent, food trends
  • Be able to write recipes and test recipes
  • Help with the professional development of junior staff
  • Lead a team in running regular Pop-Up Restaurant Nights
  • Needs to have the ability to run a kitchen and all that it entails (ordering, stock-taking, good relationships with suppliers, budgeting, planning).
  • Applicant needs to be organised, energetic and with lots of get up and go. Needs to work very well with our team and have the ability to encourage and motivate.

Position starts January/February 2018.

 

Assistant Cookery Tutor

Due to our increasingly busy course schedule, we are looking for two full-time talented assistant tutors to join our award-winning cookery school. This will be perfect for an upbeat, motivated culinary graduate/chef who would love the opportunity to teach enthusiastic customers. If you think you’ve got what it takes to pass your culinary passion on to others, then we’d like to hear from you. You must have competed a full-time culinary certificate.

This position will start in January/February 2018.
