Food Photography

Food photography has become too removed from what is important. For the photographs for my recent book, each dish was cooked photographed…and then eaten. No touching up. No food colouring. Just natural lighting. All of the food photographs were taken outside. It’s amazing how many people comment on how inviting the food appears. The trick is that there were no tricks! Just a lot of thought into how to present each one to ensure that the food looked appetising.
