We also run specialist Fish, Pasta, Baking, Chocolate, Breadmaking and Patisserie classes for those of you wanting to specialise in these areas. When you arrive you can expect to be fortified with a fine glass of wine accompanied by a light and lively demonstration of the evening’s unique menu.     When it comes to food memories, nothing stays with us quite the same way as the rustic dishes that get handed down generationally or passed from friend to friend almost as if in secret.  There is always a feeling of great generosity and gratitude in these exchanges, isn’t there?  We think that the traditions of French home cooking contain sublime examples of this and we thought it a lovely idea tonight to cook together a few of our own personal French favorites, perfectly representing the simple pleasures we all gravitate towards whenever sitting down with friends and family.

    This menu will comprise something of an aromatic dream. Think of a starter that is easily passed around the table with the help of a warm baguette and regional cheese perhaps, something to ease you into a comfortable night in. We’ll also be sure to highlight a fabulous braise that can simmer away through the day, or better yet—bubble away overnight in a low oven—and then go from oven to dinner table in one fell swoop, tasting as glorious as it looks and paired with side dishes that have enough strength and flavour to walk on their own should you wish to keep things simple! Of course, we’ll top everything off with the requisite gem of a sweet to ensure that your next night in is a terrific one.

    Our philosophy in the kitchen is to always put flavour first, no matter the restrictions. Tonight, we’ll explore a tempting selection of gluten-free eats and treats that are simple to whip up and quick to bring to life. We’ll also take a look at grains and pulses that are not only safe to incorporate into your diet but highly versatile and seriously good to eat. To top it off, we’ll show you how to add exciting textural elements to your meals that will keep you reaching for more. By the night’s end, you will return home with brand new recipes that are sure to become dependable family (and friend) favourites. One of the best highlights of this course? We’ve recently developed a super easy formula for one of the tastiest gluten-free breads around and we can’t wait to share it with you.

    We think that it’s great tradition to make at least one Friday night a month a delectable social affair full of good music, good drinks, and fab food.

    Don’t worry, we’ve got it covered! These supper clubs are one of our favourite classes to host because they’re so cheerful and festive and it generally feels like we’ve opened our doors to really great company. So come on over! This night is your official excuse to lighten your workload and put your stresses aside (until Monday at least). When you arrive you can expect to be fortified with a fine glass of wine accompanied by a light and lively demonstration of the evening’s unique menu. After this, we’ll usher you into the hands-on kitchen and of course get you involved in the best bits. We’ll then have you sit down in our cozy dining room where you can rest your weary feet and enjoy some delicious food and (delicious) company at leisure. Be sure to make your reservations early as this is a monthly affair and often books out many weeks in advance. Our supper clubs are highly suitable for both groups as well as those flying solo. Trust us when we say that you just never know who you might meet in your travels here as our kitchen has sparked many a happy friendship indeed.
